Bob has been a Licensed Chemical Dependence Counselor for more than 20 years. He has worked at The American Indian Center, The Ethel Daniels Foundation, The Salvation Army, and First Step Counseling. He started Full Circle Counseling in 1999. He combined Full Circle Counseling with Addiction Treatment Resources (ATR) in 2008. He is the Executive Director for ATR. He has extensive experience working with substance dependent criminal offenders. He works with Collin County probation doing substance abuse evaluations, works with SCORE inmates, and volunteers to teach MRT and Universal Therapy in the jail. He completed the CENAPS Relapse Prevention Therapy training and was a Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist.
Heather N. Medina BAAS, LCDC has an education background of Chemical Dependency Counselor from TSTC and graduated in 2010. She also possesses a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science emphasizing in Criminal Justice and minoring in Psychology, graduating in 2012. She has been working in the TDCJ field as a contract worker with IPTC (In Patient Therapeutic Community) for the past 5 years. Her passion is to motivate, encourage and show others that with strength and perseverance, they can accomplish most anything. Her expertise is to aid Special Populations towards a healthy transition back into societal and familial roles. Also, to continue with the providing services to aid with the reduction in recidivism.
Dimas is a transplanted native Texan has an education background in Chemical Dependency from Texas State Technical College and graduated in 2013. He has worked in corrections for 3 years in an In-Prison Therapeutic Community before joining ATR in 2021. He has experience in alcohol/drug education, relapse prevention, anger management, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Star Genera is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, who also has an educational background in Social Work and has been in the field since 2002. Her primary expertise is working with special populations (TDCJ) in relation to probation and parole. She also has experience in Outpatient setting along with certifications in MRT. Her passion and desire is to aid in motivation, education and encouragement for others who have experienced a negative impact due to addiction. Through her knowledge, insight and understanding she guides people to believe change can occur with healing, self-care, and love. rapy.
Margaret joined ATR in October of 2014. She ensures that the day to day functioning of ATR runs as smoothly as possible. She is a graduate of Texas Women's University in Denton, TX. A transplanted native Texan, she has lived in Texas most of her life. She is married and has a teenage daughter, and lives in Far North Texas. Margaret provides administrative support for the office.
